Another counselor sent this article to me this weekend and after reading it, I figured I would post it here as I think it is a pretty good explanation of the differences between kids being rude and mean and kids who are actually bullying. Bullying is a nasty, nasty thing that some kids do. But it does not happen as much as media sometimes portrays it. Knowing the definition of bullying and being able to identify it is one of the first and most important steps in stopping the problem of bullying inside and outside of schools.
